Notarize is committed to ensuring equal access to this website, and to our platform, for people with disabilities.
Work is still underway. Here’s where we’re at currently:
Digital accessibility standards
Web content produced by Notarize is intended to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Level (WCAG) AA success criteria, current version 2.1. We strive to make every page accessible. While we do not claim full site-wide conformance at this time, we’re actively working towards it.
Accessible notary meetings
Notarize offers consumers the ability to utilize Remote Online Notarization, however, both Notarize and the available notary must follow the state specific notary requirements when providing service.
What this means is that several of the problems we’re tackling around accessible notary meetings are complex, given state-by-state notary laws and the need to record sessions. We’re constantly working on ways to make this experience as accessible as possible, while operating within the confines of specific state notarial law requirements.
